Together, we’re opening wide the doors to nature so city teens feel comfortable to adventure in the great outdoors. On adventures, city teens hone their abilities while learning they can trust our Crew – including you – for support. No matter their path in life, every Crew teen deserves the chance to step out of their comfort zone and grow in confidence in nature.

Stopping is a start.

When we hit the slopes, many Crew teens are attempting skiing and snowboarding for the first time. Others have previous experience only because they’ve been with the Crew for years and return faithfully for this outing. While the ski slopes can be an intimidating setting, with the Crew by their side, city teens come to see it as a place where they belong and can excel on their own terms. Like Oliver, a seventh-grader at Bellevue High School, who was happy about "actually speeding down the hill and being able to stop!"
