Experiencing nature's "art gallery"

The whole world is an art gallery when you're mindful. There are beautiful things everywhere and they're free. - Charles Tart

Charles Tart has long been a leading psychologist in the study of altered states of consciousness, to include detailed research and scientific reporting on mindfulness. And while he is absolutely correct – beautiful things can be free – access to these most beautiful places is an obstacle for too many. City youth in Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky in particular would experience very little of nature’s “art gallery” if not for Adventure Crew.

In this month of Thanks-giving, I am grateful for the peace of mind I can always find in the outdoors. I am grateful I can walk out my front door to natural spaces, and easily drive down the road to enjoy multiple nearby parks, streams and forests. I am grateful my health enables me to walk, ride, paddle, swim and ski. And I am most grateful I’m surrounded by like-minded nature lovers who work relentlessly and give endlessly to make the Outdoors for All through Adventure Crew.

May you all experience the blessing of mindfulness, enriched by the beauty of this peaceful season.
