Meet the Crew: Dan Neyer, Vanguard Award recipient

Dan Neyer, second from right, is this year’s Vanguard Award recipient.

The Adventure Crew Vanguard Award is presented annually to an individual who has worked enthusiastically to promote and support our mission. This year's recipient is Dan Neyer.

Dan has a passion for challenges and causes. He connected with Adventure Crew first through a challenge -- his desire to paddle the Ohio River from Cincinnati to Louisville for his birthday -- and then he fell in love with our cause. 

Dan became a Crew Champion this past summer, transforming his personal adventure on the river into a peer-to-peer fundraiser for Adventure Crew. Thanks to Dan, our Crew community has grown in size and strength. We are grateful he shares our vision of every teen being inspired by nature.
