Congrats to our Vanguard Award honorees!

The Adventure Crew Vanguard Award is presented annually to someone who has worked enthusiastically to promote and support our mission. This year, we acknowledged a couple who've gone above and beyond for the Crew: Congraulations to Jeff and Heather Spanbauer, our 2022 honorees!

Jeff and Heather are both Adventure Crew board members. They believe in our work so much that Jeff celebrated Heather's 50th birthday by offering an incredible 5:1 match for donations this spring.

"Adventure Crew and its mission are close to Heather’s heart," Jeff said. "Making a difference in children’s lives is at her core."

The Spanbauers' contributions have certainly made a difference in the lives of Crew kids. We so appreciate their support of our misson, connecting city teens with nature and each other through outdoor adventures!
