Summer Adventures
We hosted our Adventure Crew’s Big Camp Out weekend, that most of our students look forward to every year!
Over 60 Adventure Crew students were joined by their family members, Adventure Crew advisors and staff for a three day, two night camp out at Winton Wood's Adventure Outpost.
This weekend of adventure had everything - kayaking, fishing, disc golf, low ropes, rock climbing, night hikes, camp fires, and even a slip slide to stay cool. Every Adventure Crew student went home from the camp out with a tent and sleeping bag to take on future adventures with their families.
We are infinitely thankful to Great Parks of Hamilton County for making our camping weekend an absolute success!
Another adventure that we hold that our crew loves, is paddling down the river. We just might have to host one in the fall!
The school year ended with a splash with Adventure Crew's May kayaking adventures. Over 300 students paddled the Little Miami this past month, taking in the beauty and enjoying the recreational benefits of the National Scenic River. School year programming has come to a close, but there's lots of summertime opportunities for teens to stay active and outdoors with Adventure Crew!
